Nashville’s Shower Doors is run by Nashville’s Web Design. This page says what the site collects, what happens to it, and how to have it removed.

What you send us

The estimate form asks for your name, phone, email and city and the service you need, and, if you like, the property’s address, state and ZIP code, how you heard about us and a few words about the project. When you send it, the site saves it in its own database on Cloudflare, with the page you sent it from and the country your connection is in, and emails it to us through Gmail so we can follow up. It’s ordinary email, so leave anything sensitive out of it.

Who sees it

We may pass your request to an independent local company that does shower door and glass work, so they can contact you about the job, and they may pay us for the introduction.

What the site records about visits

Our own log notes each page view: the page, the site or ad that sent you, your device and browser, and the approximate location and network of your connection as Cloudflare estimates them. When someone taps the email address or sends the form, it notes that too, with the browser’s language and time zone and the same rough location, down to the ZIP code, and it notes how many seconds each page stays open. It doesn’t keep your IP address or anything that names you. A cookie of the site’s own, ts_src, remembers where your visit started, so a request can be credited to the channel that brought it; it holds no identifier and is gone when you close your browser.

Visits from outside the United States are turned away, and the country Cloudflare reports for your connection is what decides it.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics (G-S03SW1N18Q). It sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_S03SW1N18Q) to count visits and see how the site is used, and Google processes that data under its privacy policy. Google’s opt-out add-on, or blocking cookies in your browser, stops it.

Services the site runs on

Cloudflare hosts the site and screens the form for spam with its Turnstile check. It also adds a small script of its own to each page, Cloudflare Web Analytics, which reports how quickly the page loaded, and which page it was, back to Cloudflare; it sets no cookies. The fonts load from Google Fonts, and the email that brings your request to us goes through Gmail. Cloudflare and Google see your IP address when your browser reaches them.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email [email protected]. The site is for adults arranging work on their homes, not for children.
